Conspiracy Against Zardari!!

Even after 20+ years of winning a beauty paegeant Sarah Palin hasn’t lost her touch. After the Hopeful-P Mr. Mc Cain asked her to meet and greet the world leaders in NewYork, the Governor of Alaska had a great day doing what she does best. Charming the World Leaders. Since she has little or no experience in meeting world leaders and discussing issues she came up with a startegy to handle the Head of States and delegates meeting her.
She met the Indian Prime Minister and President of Pakistan the same day. Every news channel is making a fuss about Mr.Zardari’s antics infront of the press. I agree that as the President of Pakistan he should have acted more reasonably rather than being the casanova he used to be or maybe he still is
. But if we take a look at the reason why the Indian Prime Minister didn’t and our President did woo the Alaskan Governor and Hopeful-VP we may feel that our President was trapped into doing what he did. Afterall, once a Casanova always a Casanova
. The Attire and the atitude of the Alaskan Governor while meeting the Indian and Pakistani representatives shows clearly what made the old-experienced Casanova wooo the Hopeful-VP.

Even if noone believes what I have just stated I would still say it was a setup to defame our President by those who donot want democracy in Pakistan

A tribute to The Quaid
I read the following quote on a friend’s messenger comment. In the current situation words like these can keep the spirit of the nation up.
“Do your duty and have faith in God. There is no power on earth that can undo Pakistan. It has come to stay”
- Quaid
On the death anniversary of the founder of Pakistan there couldnt be a better tribute to the leader than to follow his words.

6th September!!
6th september is remembered as defence day in Pakistan when our soldiers defended our country in 1965. We celebrate the day by paying our gratitude to the martys of the 1965 war.
After 43 years this country has elected a President who is the most controversial politician/businessman this country has seen.
In my opinion this day marks the beginning of the end of democracy in this country. I hope we as a nation learn to elect the worthy and capable leaders. We must not get emotional while casting our vote as we might just regret the sympathy vote we casted this February.
I hope the new President proves me wrong. And I am really looking forward to that.

Black Money Whitened!!!
In a poor country like Pakistan where the government has taken loans over $42 Billion and the people are crushed by the inflation. A resident of Karachi has got his black money whitened and that too worth Rs.2.5 Billion($32 Million) by paying just 2% tax and will never be asked about the sources through which he earned this much money.

On my Own!!
Its been over a month now, never really discussed with anyone about it. Only a handful knew what I was upto. And now it has started.
Its been over a month that I have left my job and jumped on the bandwagon of Tech Startups. A difficult decision to make and certainly not an easy one when the economy of the country is going down and a steady income stops coming into your hands.
I really hope to live upto the expectations of the people who have always been there for me and encouraged me.

Is this the end of the crisis??
After the resignation, is the crisis going to end? Is the political unrest going to settle down? Is the economic crisis the country is facing going to end?

Importance of Parents
Its been a while since I had written my last post. I was away due to my work commitments and couldn’t get time to write anything. But I just can’t resist sharing this with some people who read my blog and visit it when there is nothing new on it.
I was looking for something worth mentioning regarding the rights of our parents. How we should be treating them? Looking after them and making them happy. And I googled and googled till I read this:
http://www.inter-islam.org/RightsDuties/parents.html
I really feel bad whenever I see some of my friends and some young people I know from either work, university or family talk to their parents in a harsh tone or arguing with them asking for reasons for not permitting them to do something or why didnt they allow them to go for movies etc etc. I always ask myself why we, people of my generation, talk to our parents in this way? Why do we always think they are wrong? why dont we understand that what they are saying is based on their life’s experience and there is nothing wrong in it? Why?
I always feel that whatever our parents advice us to do is for our betterment, maybe not in the short term or near future, but in the long term. Parents aren’t our enemies they are the only people who would never want any of us to get hurt or to feel bad or to fail.
This is all I wanted to say to those “Pleasee Pleasee dont ever hurt your parents. Try not to argue. Try not to hurt them. And always take care of them before you take care of yourself because this what they have always been doing and they will continue to do so.”
